Books to Remember

On 27th January 1945, Auschwitz-Birkenau, the largest Nazi concentration camp was liberated.

Each year, each 27th January, we remember the victims of the Holocaust, and this year I want to share with you on my blog a brief list of a few books I suggest on this subject.

The True Story of Hansel and Gretel, by Louise Murphy

Sarah’s Key, by Tatiana de Rosnay

Everything is Illuminated, by Jonathan Safran Foer

The Diary of a Young Girl, by Anna Frank

The Book Thief, by Markus Zusak

The Boy in the Striped Pajamas, by John Boyne

Number the Stars, by Lois Lowry

My Mother’s Secret, by J.L.Witterick

The Story Teller, by Jodi Picoult
